Dr. Joshua Wilges graduated from NYU dental school in 2007. He completed his first year of residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn. While at Lutheran, Dr. Wilges’ program directors awarded him Resident of the Year and he was elected Chief Resident the following year. In 2010, Dr. Wilges began with one chair, once a week in a small midtown office where he treated his friends and family. Through word-of-mouth only, his practice quickly grew. Construction began on new office space in 2012 and he proudly welcomed patients to the new modern facility in February 2013. Post-graduation, Dr. Wilges completed a year-long fellowship in Comprehensive Aesthetic Dentistry at NYU studying under some of the top cosmetic dentists in New York City. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, New York State Dental Society, New York County Dental Society, Gay and Lesbian Medical Association, and Dental Volunteers for Israel.
Dr. Wilges has completed 600 hours of continuing education courses at NYU, Spear Education, Clinical Mastery Series and Cosmedent as well as numerous conferences around the country. He is currently studying to become a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, an award only 6% of General dentists receive.
He enjoys spending time with friends and enjoying all NYC has to offer. He often travels home to Texas to visit his family and their six golden retrievers.
Dr. Bhavika Patel is a precise, compassionate dentist. Her approach is to exceed standards by prioritizing thoroughness and patient comfort. Dr. Patel earned a BA in biology from Boston University and a dental degree from University of Tennessee in 2007. After that she completed a two-year General Practice residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn. She is trained in a full range of dental services and has a special interest in root canal therapy.
When she is not in the office, Dr. Patel enjoys yoga, drawing, painting and travel.
Dr. Joanne Lee graduated from NYU College of Dentistry where she earned her degree in dental surgery and went on to complete postgraduate training at Hackensack University Medical Center. She believes in the high value of always continuing her education and also being able to share that knowledge with patients.
When patients are happy, Dr. Lee is happy. She loves creating and restoring smiles for patients in a safe and clean environment. She wishes that patients would not hesitate when coming to the dentist and wants patients to know they have nothing to be afraid of!
Not only does Dr. Lee believe in maintaining a healthy mouth, but also a healthy and sustainable environment. She actively recycles, conserves and volunteers in her community by planting trees and cleaning up parks.
Certified Dental Assistant
Leyla is a certified Dental Assistant and has worked with Dr. Wilges since 2010. She assists the doctors during procedures. She is always available and happy to answer any questions you may have regarding dental procedures.
Leyla enjoys spending time with her family and husband Tommy. They have a 4-year-old that keeps them both VERY busy.
Certified Dental Assistant
Melinda is a certified Dental Assistant and has worked with Dr. Wilges since 2013. She is responsible for scheduling, verifying insurance eligibility, and assisting the doctor during procedures. She is always available and happy to answer any questions you may have regarding dental insurance or dental procedures.
Melinda also enjoys spending time with her family. She has two teenagers that keep her busy. Melinda is also a reality TV show junkie and is a Big Brother SUPER FAN.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Michelle is our registered dental hygienist. She is responsible for patient cleanings and oral hygiene education. Michelle spent several years practicing in San Francisco before join our practice.
Among her many hobbies, Michelle loves to travel and is brave enough to open water dive with sharks annually!
Operations Director
Adam is our Operations Director. He is responsible for making sure our practice runs smoothly and ensuring patients have the best experience possible. Adam has a background in wealth management operations and has helped us greatly. He is always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding insurance and billing.
When not in the office he enjoys traveling, spending time at his place in the Catskills, and cooking.
